NEET UG 2024: Candidates who secure a seat in the stray vacancy round will have to report to the designated colleges from October 30 to November 5.
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will release the stray vacancy round seat allotment result today, October 29. The stray vacancy round registration began on October 25 for 1,184 seats. Candidates who secure a seat in the stray vacancy round will have to report to the designated colleges from October 30 to November 5.
Candidates must note that those who do not take their assigned seat during the stray vacancy round will forfeit their security deposit and will not be permitted to take the NEET exam the following year. After being assigned a seat, a candidate must report to the specified college to finish the admissions procedures. Candidates must bring the original copies of the designated documents when they report to the designated college.

This year, the NEET UG exam was held on May 5 and conducted by the National Testing Agency. The exam was held in pen and paper mode in 557 Indian cities. As per the MCC schedule, for All India Quota (15 per cent), Deemed, Central Universities, All AIIMS Institutes, JIPMER (Puducherry and Karaikal), the committee will conduct the four rounds of counselling which include the Round 1, Round 2, Round 3, and Online Stray Vacancy Round.
