Tim Fischer’s new lifestyle in India — quite familiar to the locals — has brought in surprising changes.
A man, who shifted from the US to India with his wife, has documented the cultural differences since moving here. Tim Fischer shared the video with his more than 1,000 followers on Instagram. In the caption, he wrote, “Moving to a different country comes with a lot of changes. Here are 8 ways my life changed after moving from the US to India.”
The viral video shows how Fischer’s new lifestyle in India — quite familiar to the locals — has brought in surprising changes. Among the several changes Fischer highlighted was the addition of more “flavour and spice” to his food, while there is no grass to cut in his house’s backyard.
He also stated that now people don’t call him by his name often and rather say ‘Uncle’, ‘Sir’, ‘Beta’, ‘Bhaiya’, ‘Suno’.
While sharing a book in Hindi, Fischer said he can now read and speak a new language, besides getting to drive sitting on the right side of the car — mentioning how driving rules are different in India compared with other countries.
“I can fit more people on my cycle,” he stated while riding a bicycle with his children.
Fischer lives in India with his Canadian wife and their three children. He holds an Associate of Science degree from the Pikes Peak State College in Colorado Springs as well as a Bachelor of Science from the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs. Before launching his own venture, Fischer used to work for different companies, Hindustan Times reported.
His video has since gone viral on the social media platform, garnering more than 1,500 likes.
In the comments section, several people expressed their views and praised Fischer’s work.
“Aadhaar Card loading soon,” one user wrote, while another one commented, “Fitting more kids on the cycle is I believe a good culture shock and at the same time fun to cover a short distance.”
A third person added, “That’s so cute video!!! All the best!! Love your & your wife’s videos!”
