Purpose
Southeast Rural Community Assistance Loan Fund Program
provides community development loans to local
governments, public service authorities, user
associations, nonprofit organizations, and other
community entities for the development and/or
construction of large-scale community projects including healthcare facilities.
Loans may be used for:
- Building acquisitions and/or renovations
- Construction
- Land purchases
Eligibility
Eligible applicants are local governments, public service
authorities, user associations, nonprofit organizations,
and other community entities in the SERCAP service
area.
Geographic coverage
North Carolina, Florida, Georgia, Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, and South Carolina.
Amount of funding
Loan amounts range up to $250,000. Interest rates start
at 3% for loan terms up to 10 years.
