Purpose
The Tennessee Center for Health Workforce Development
offers assistance to practices in rural and underserved
communities in Tennessee with recruitment and retention
needs. Funding will assist with the recruitment of
primary care physicians, psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse
practitioners, and/or or dentists for rural and
underserved communities in Tennessee.
Funding may be used for:
- Sign-on bonus
- Relocation expenses
- Equipment
- Insurance
- Locum tenens
- Tuition or loan repayment
Eligibility
Eligible applicants are practice sites in rural and/or
underserved areas of Tennessee.
